Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM- 5 PM

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Receives incoming telephone calls in a prompt and courteous manner working with multiple phone lines and provide telephonic patient outreach and patient experience calls
  • Have consistent, punctual and reliable attendance
  • Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate commitment to superior customer service, including quality and care and concern with each and every internal and external customer
  • Represents the Company in a professional manner, following all Company policies and procedures
  • Uses, protects, and discloses patients' protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
  • Responsible for accurately and professionally handling all front desk operations including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling of all appointments, EOD Billing, addressing routine inquiries, working daily reports, and forwarding non-routine requests to appropriate personnel
  • Performs clerical duties as directed
  • Manages medical records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule)
  • Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed in timely manner
  • Processes requests for medical records release and maintains appropriate logs, etc.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED OR 4+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ years of data entry and customer service experience with strong communication skills both in person and via phone
  • 1+ years of experience/working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to include Excel, Word, and Outlook

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience in a physician's office, clinical or hospital setting
  • Ability to display excellent telephone/switchboard etiquette
  • Ability to interact and verbally communicate effectively with patients and all levels of personnel in a professional, courteous and effective manner with excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment with good organizational skills
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions and to work with general guidance
  • Demonstrated clerical skills (typing, filing, telephone courtesy)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) language proficiency

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 to $36.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
