We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join a collaborative healthcare support team and serve as a key point of contact for patients, physicians, and referral sources.

What You'll Do

• Receive equipment and service orders by phone and fax.
• Assist patients with questions related to medical equipment, billing, and insurance coverage.
• Accurately enter and maintain patient information within company systems.
• Verify insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Process patient orders and ensure required documentation is complete.
• Coordinate with physicians, referral sources, and patients to ensure timely service.
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide outstanding customer support.
• Assist walk-in customers at the front desk and retail location.
• Maintain accurate records and update patient information as needed.
• Support a smooth order-to-delivery process for patients requiring medical equipment and services.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong data entry and computer skills.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and accept feedback.
• Ability to thrive in a structured, fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to helping coworkers and patients.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saginaw, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.75/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
