At Nexus Children’s Hospital – Dallas, we specialize in bridging medical and behavioral care for children and adolescents recovering from complex medical challenges. Our patients often face brain injuries, developmental delays, psychiatric diagnoses, or co-occurring behavioral conditions—and our team is dedicated to helping them rebuild strength, stability, and confidence.
We provide a supportive, structured environment that empowers each child to reach new milestones and transition successfully from hospital to home.
The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) provides direct, hands-on care and behavioral support to pediatric patients with medical and psychiatric needs. Working closely with licensed nurses and an interdisciplinary team, the PCA helps create a therapeutic environment that promotes safety, healing, and growth.
At Nexus, GOPTIC is more than a slogan—it’s the heart of how we care for children and families.
