Job Summary

IIQAF Group is looking for a compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused Patient Care Assistant to support patients and clinical teams in a hospital environment in Dubai. The Patient Care Assistant will provide essential patient support, assist with activities of daily living, maintain patient comfort and safety, and support nurses and other healthcare professionals with routine patient care activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate and respectful care and assistance to patients under the direction of nursing and clinical staff.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
  • Support patients with mobility, positioning, transfers, walking, and other daily activities as required.
  • Assist with moving and transferring patients safely using appropriate procedures and equipment.
  • Follow hospital policies, healthcare procedures, occupational health and safety standards, and patient-care protocols.
  • Assist the nursing and healthcare team during routine clinical and non-clinical activities.
  • Report safety hazards, incidents, patient concerns, or changes in patient condition immediately to the appropriate healthcare professional.
  • Maintain professional conduct and contribute to a positive patient experience.
  • Perform other patient care and healthcare support duties assigned by the supervisor or nursing team.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  • Certificate or training in Patient Care, Nursing Assistance, Healthcare Assistance, or a related healthcare field is preferred.
  • Ability to follow nursing instructions, patient care plans, hospital policies, and safety procedures.
  • Good observation and reporting skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, responsible, and professional approach to patient care.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
