This position will be responsible for CMA and Patient Care Tech duties including office assistant duties as assigned. This position will assist clinic healthcare providers with patient examinations, phone calls, treatments and procedures as they may be performed within a clinic setting under the direction of the provider; within the scope of the CNA Certification. This position will also maintain responsibility for patient medical histories, collection and preparation of specimens as required. Provides patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or a Licensed Practice Nurse. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides personal care, comfort and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for patients. This position will also be under the direction of the Laboratory Manager as a phlebotomist. (See signed Phlebotomy job description).
