Initiateaccurateprocesstocompletethepatient’sregistration(insuranceor self- paying.)
CollectingPayment,i.e.,Cash,Deductibles,Co-insurance,andCopaymentasper insurance and/or SOB’s (from online insurance portals) service wise.
CoordinateswithNursingandotherDepartmentstoresolvepatient’squeries.
Informingpatientswhentherearedelaysfordiagnosticortreatmentservices.
Directspatientstoappropriateclinics/areas.
SubmitsdocumentsrelatedtocashcollectionandrefundstoChiefCashier.
Maintainsrecordsforanyauthenticationforservicesforanypatient(s)givenby higher officials. Report to be forwarded to Billing Supervisor.
Reconciliationofdailycashandcreditcardcollectiontobecompletedbefore closing. Excess or short in collection to be reported to Chief Cashier.
Cashcollectionaccordingtotheindividualcollectionreportmustbedepositedin the Main Cash Box.
Coordinates with the Clinic and service providing units for rectification of documentsandreportsrequestedbytheBackOffice-ClaimsSubmissionTeam.
