
Patient Accommodations Coordinator - Room Reservations
This is a swing shift position consisting of two 12-hour shifts per week. Work weeks run Sunday through Saturday. Two weekends off every six weeks. Rotating between day shift (7A–7P) and night shift (7P–7A).
Manage and optimize the allocation of hospital beds to ensure efficient patient flow, maximize bed utilization, and facilitate timely admissions, transfers, and discharges. Maintain real-time bed availability information, coordinating bed assignments, and communicating with various departments to streamline patient movement within the hospital.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Two years of medical office or related experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree in healthcare related field preferred.
Previous experience in hospital services and medical insurance preferred.
