ABOUT THE ROLE: We’re looking for a Patient Access Team Lead to provide high quality service to all staff in the department, persons served and customers in a courteous and professional manner. This position serves as the lead staff for the unit and is also trained as a back-up support to the Patient access supervisor. This position is expected to contribute to departmental operations by scheduling patient appointments, check patients in and out, register insurances and provide general clerical and administrative support. Prioritize daily tasks based on deadlines, urgency of needs and departmental policy. Record keeping skills and knowledge of managed care is needed. Responsibilities/requirements include:

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED, with business curriculum preferred and (2) years of customer service experience.

  • Must have experience working in Microsoft programs, specifically Microsoft Office

  • Knowledge of managed care criteria and insurances.

  • Must be able to obtain, criminal, child abuse and FBI clearances

Monday – Thursday: Between the hours of 7:30a -8p; Friday: between the hours of 7:30a – 5p.

Schedule flexibility based on the needs of the unit.
