For over 25 years, Southwest Care Center has been providing exceptional healthcare to the communities of Santa Fe and Albuquerque, NM. We are a non-profit, FQHC-LAL providingmedical, behavioral health, case management, community outreach, diabetes education, and pharmacy services. We are proud to offer gender equity medicine, syringe exchange, and HIV/HepCtreatment, testing and other services within our communities.
Southwest Care Center is currently seeking a full-time Technical Support Analystworking organization-wide including our clinics in both Santa Fe and Albuquerque, NM. This position will be required to make frequent commutes to both locations as work dictates.

Education: High school diplomaor general education degree (GED).

Use of Windows Explorer (electronic file-handling).
Regular and predictable punctuality and attendance are a requirement of this position.
Performs other duties as required and assigned
The purpose of this position is to provide direct and indirect customer support to the clinical team. Responsible for pre-registration, financial determination, appointment scheduling, and coordinating of all front office and registration functions as part of one or more clinical teams. Serves as liaison between clinical teams and other staff, other agencies, and patients.
Collaborates with the clinic staff and other SCC Departments to ensure appropriate workflow within the clinic.
Functions as a liaison between the Patient Access Specialist, Patient Access Supervisor, and all staff. Serves as a resource to on-site Patient Access Staff.
Provides exceptional service excellence to patients and guests, by demonstrating a positive attitude, patient-focused and professional manner at all times.
Demonstrates the importance of patient access at all times by adhering to the scheduling protocol.
Consistently promotes patient access by answering and managing calls from a telephone system, including transferring c alls to appropriate staff members or departments. Promptly retrieves and replies to voicemail messages.
Utilizes electronic scheduling software to enter and track patient interactions as appropriate, including updating accurate patient demographics and insurance information at all times. Maintains proficiency in the use of the electronic scheduling software, electronic health record and scanning.
Verifies insurance eligibility for each patient visit.
Maintains proficiency in the use of the electronic scheduling software, electronic health record and scanning. Serves as EMR super-user.
Operates point of sale system and balance cash at end of day, prepares daily batch reconciliation.
Attends all scheduled mandatory meetings and trainings.
Other duties as assigned.

Santa Fe: With three clinic locations in Santa Fe, Southwest CARE Center (SCC) aims to provide a compassionate, patient-centered environment where everyone can feel comfortable and respected while receiving the highest quality health care available. Our services include: family medicine, HIV, Hepatitis C and primary care services to women, men and children.
Albuquerque: In September of 2015, Southwest Care Center opened its doors in Albuquerque, providing the same high standard of HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment. In addition we provide Gender Equity Medicine, Adult Primary Care, integrated behavioral health, social services and on-site pharmaceutical services.
Our focus at Southwest CARE Center is to provide a compassionate, patient-centered environment where everyone can feel comfortable and respected while receiving the highest quality health care available. Considered the future model of health care delivery in the nation, Southwest CARE Center is one of the largest and most experienced providers of HIV care in southwestern United States. As a leader in HIV care, our physicians, nurses and case managers are active on national, state and local levels in the development and improvement of services for persons with HIV/AIDS. We provide one-stop accessible and coordinated care by including medical, pharmacy, case management, prevention, testing and counseling, research, patient advocacy, nutrition, housing assistance, mental health services and substance use disorder counseling on site. As we move toward expansion of primary care services, Southwest CARE Center will use the same wrap-around service model delivered within the context of our core values: compassion, communication, vision, teamwork, and respect to provide healthcare that every person deserves.
