Job Description

This position is responsible for completing patient registration duties and providing administrative support for assigned area(s). Collects and validates accurate patient demographic and insurance information, verifies authorizations and referrals as required and data enters necessary information into registration system. Informs the patient of estimated liability at the time of service, collects patient liabilities, identifies patients in need of financial assistance and refers patients to financial counseling as necessary. Supports the organization in fulfilling the mission, vision, and values of Logan Health.

Logan Health is seeking two full-time Patient Access Representatives to support Patient Access functions within our Laboratory. In this role, you will work directly with patients, assist with registration and insurance information, and help ensure each person receives friendly, accurate, and efficient service.

What You’ll Do

  • Welcome patients and provide friendly, professional assistance.

  • Complete patient registration and other Patient Access functions.

  • Verify and update demographic, insurance, and appointment information.

  • Collect required documentation and ensure information is entered accurately.

  • Answer patient questions and direct them to the appropriate services.

  • Communicate with patients, laboratory staff, clinical teams, and other departments.

  • Help resolve registration, scheduling, and insurance-related concerns.

  • Protect patient confidentiality and follow all applicable privacy requirements.

  • Support an organized and efficient patient flow within the Laboratory.

Previous experience in patient registration, scheduling, insurance, customer service, or healthcare is helpful but not required.

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

Monday - Friday, Day Shift, 8:30 - 5:00 PM
