Job Highlights:
Locations: May be assigned to and required to work at any of the six designated Patient Access locations as staffing needs dictate. Staff must be willing and able to travel between locations and maintain competency at all assigned facilities.
The PRN Patient Access Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients, families, physicians, and visitors. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while completing patient registration, insurance verification, demographic collection, point-of-service collections, scheduling support, and other patient access functions in both Emergency Department and Outpatient settings.
PRN staff are required to maintain flexibility and support operational needs across all designated service locations. Employees in this role must successfully complete training and demonstrate proficiency in all assigned registration areas.
Minimum PRN Requirements
Must work a minimum of 32 hours per month to maintain PRN status.
Must be available to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and as needed for staffing shortages.
Must complete training and maintain competency in both Outpatient Services and Emergency Department Registration
Must be willing to work at any of the six assigned locations based on departmental needs.
Responsible for communicating with patients, participants and staff to accurately schedule patients for prescribed procedures and gather the necessary demographic, insurance and clinical information for the procedure.
