Position Purpose
Completes patient registrations/pre-registration processes following department procedures using identified technology systems. Processes include obtaining accurate demographic, insurance and patient liability information. Responsible for working with multiple department/hospital and web-based systems.
What you will do
Performs complete and accurate pre-registrations, registration, and admission functions
Verifies insurance requirements, obtains and understands insurance benefits
Ensures that all entries concerning demographic, financial and advanced directives are
Collects non-covered fees
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum High school or equivalent
One year experience in an accredited hospital or physician's office preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication and interview skills
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computer systems and computer devices
Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances

Full time 32hrs including every other weekend. mix of 1st shift (6:45a-3:15p) and swing shift (11:30a-8p)
