Cottage Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Patient Access Registrar to join our team and provide as-needed support across the Patient Access Department. This role is key to creating a positive first impression by delivering professional, efficient service to patients and visitors.
In this position, you will greet and assist patients, complete accurate registration in the electronic health record, verify insurance information, and update demographic details. You will also support scheduling, collect and reconcile payments, and manage incoming calls while providing general information.
The role requires the ability to work independently at the Welcome Desk, multitask effectively, and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. You will help ensure smooth department operations by providing flexible coverage, including holidays and unscheduled needs.
