The Division of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Cincinnati Children’s is recruiting a full-time faculty member to support its growing clinical needs. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support our faculty, including sign-on bonus potential, incentive compensation opportunities, CME allowance, retirement benefits, and a comprehensive suite of employee benefits.
The Division of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine provides expert diagnostic services for pediatric patients, including biopsies, surgical specimens, body fluids, and autopsies. The team includes board-certified pediatric pathologists, laboratory scientists, and support staff, working to deliver accurate, timely results and advance understanding of disease mechanisms.
As a nationally-ranked medical center, Cincinnati Children’s pathologists work on the most complex pediatric, perinatal and fetal pathology cases. Annually, we see over 21,000 surgical pathology cases, including 3,600 cytology cases and over 800 outside pediatric surgical consultation cases. We are also one of the largest pediatric autopsy pathology services in the country, with over 110 perinatal and pediatric autopsy cases each year. The division has transitioned to a Digital pathology workflow in late 2025.
