Job Posting Description : Minimum Requirements
Education and License

  • A master’s degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology
  • A current Massachusetts state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA)

Experience

  • 1 year of progressively responsible and specialized clinical experience, including responsibility for specialized ALS Augmentative Communication assessment.
  • Work requires the analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems OR design relatively complex systems and programs.
  • Clinically implementing the full scope of voice preservation including: message banking, voice banking and voice cloning.
  • Participating in all ALS Program meetings
  • This position also requires providing support to Massachusetts patients in their home/community based locations.

Work requires strong communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, and well-developed writing skills.
