Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pathologist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in diagnosing diseases by analyzing laboratory specimens and providing accurate, timely reports that support patient treatment and care.
Responsibilities
- Examine and analyze tissue specimens, body fluids, and laboratory samples to identify abnormalities.
- Generate detailed pathology reports and communicate findings effectively to clinicians and other healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide diagnostic expertise and assist in patient management decisions.
- Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards within the laboratory environment.
- Engage in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in pathology.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree with board certification in Pathology.
- Valid medical license to practice pathology in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 4 years of post-certification experience in clinical pathology or related fields.
- Strong diagnostic and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
