Job Description

PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist to join a growing team at a busy community-based regional medical center in Victoria, TX. This is a full-time, hospital-based position offering a broad case mix and strong collegial support. The ideal candidate will bring a team-focused approach, excellent diagnostic skills in general surgical pathology and cytopathology, and a commitment to high-quality pathology services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sign-out of general surgical pathology and cytopathology cases.
  • Frozen section interpretation and intraoperative consults.
  • Oversee clinical pathology functions and participate in quality assurance.
  • Active engagement in tumor boards and interdisciplinary clinical discussions.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution.
  • AP/CP Board Certification or eligibility.
  • Texas medical license or eligibility required.
  • Strong diagnostic acumen and effective communication skills.
  • Able to work independently, with access to regional and network support.
