Job Description

PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgical Pathologist to join our team at a busy hospital-based practice in Memphis, TN. This full-time opportunity offers a robust and varied case mix, a supportive team culture, and the resources of one of the nation’s largest independent pathology groups. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills across general surgical pathology, including GI, GU, breast, and GYN, and will thrive in a high-volume, team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General surgical pathology and cytopathology sign-out
  • Frozen section interpretation and intraoperative consultation
  • Participation in quality initiatives, tumor boards, and clinical case discussions
  • Collaborative engagement with hospital medical staff and laboratory team

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • AP/CP Board Certification or Eligibility
  • Tennessee medical license or eligibility required
  • Excellent diagnostic and communication skills
