
New York University (NYU) is seeking a Research Coordinator to support the implementation and evaluation of the Path Program, a school-based inclusion model that creates new paths to success for students who can benefit from focused emotional and behavioral support, specifically those who have the potential to be classified as having emotional disabilities. The Path Program is a New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) Specialized Program developed through a Research-Practice-Policy Partnership between NYU and NYCPS.
The Research Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating research activities, supporting program development, and facilitating collaboration among research, practice, and policy partners. The Coordinator will work collaboratively with graduate and undergraduate research assistants.
This position also involves working with schools, families, and practice partners, including regular school visits and coordination across multiple groups. The ideal candidate will approach partnerships from a place of humility and mutualism by engaging deeply and respectfully with practice and policy partners and prioritizing their perspectives in the partnership.
This position is ideal for candidates interested in applied education research, school-based research-practice partnerships, and mixed-methods program evaluation.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly base rate for this position is $24-$34/hour. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
Per NYU's remote-work policy, this position is expected to be in-person.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
