As a Patent Specialist Nutrition & Health at Société des Produits Nestlé S.A., your mission is to help identify, protect and manage innovations emerging from Nestlé’s research and development activities. You will make a difference by collaborating closely with patent counsels, scientists, innovation teams, legal experts and business partners across Nutrition & Health. How you’ll make an impact as a Patent Specialist Nutrition & Health

• Supporting the protection and management of Nutrition & Health innovations across the patent lifecycle, from invention capture to portfolio maintenance.
• Contributing to patentability assessments, prior-art searches and freedom-to-operate activities that guide research and business decisions.
• Preparing patent landscape and competitive intelligence insights that strengthen understanding of the external innovation environment.
• Collaborating with scientists, inventors and innovation teams across Nestlé Research and Nutrition & Health research and development.
• Assisting with patent filing and prosecution activities in partnership with experienced patent counsels and external patent attorneys.
• Building practical intellectual property expertise through mentoring, hands-on learning and exposure to multidisciplinary innovation projects.

• Bringing a strong scientific foundation in life sciences, nutrition, food science, biochemistry, biotechnology, chemistry, pharmacy, health sciences or a related discipline.
• Applying analytical thinking to understand complex technologies and translate scientific information into clear patent-related insights.
• Using your interest in intellectual property, innovation and patent protection to learn quickly and contribute with curiosity and precision.
• Collaborating proactively with scientists, inventors, patent professionals and business partners while managing multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Communicating fluently in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrating courage, collaboration, speed and continuous learning, while translating ideas into measurable impact and creating shared value.
