Patent Litigation Associate – Mid-Level (3–5 Years)

mid-level Patent Litigation Associate

to join its nationally recognized intellectual property litigation group. This team is built for
hands-on experience

, offering a strong
partner-to-associate ratio

and direct access to senior litigators on high-stakes matters.


Role and Responsibilities:


  • Represent clients in
    patent litigation matters

    in U.S. district courts.

  • Participate in
    ITC investigations

    and
    PTAB proceedings

    .

  • Draft substantive motions, briefs, and case strategy materials.

  • Take an active role in
    fact and expert discovery

    , including
    taking and defending depositions

    .

  • Work
    closely with partners

    on case strategy, client interaction, and key decisions.

  • Contribute to matters that often move toward
    trial or final hearing

    .

Requirements


  • 3–5 years of patent litigation experience at a law firm.

  • Experience representing both patent owners and accused infringers.

  • Exposure to district court litigation, with ITC and/or PTAB experience preferred.

  • Technical background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.

  • USPTO registration is a plus, but not required.

  • Strong academic credentials with excellent writing and analytical skills.

  • Admitted to the Texas Bar (required).
