The team of the The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna is looking for a Lady or Gentlemen for the position:

Pastry Cook - Dstrikt Steakhouse, Evening Shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and presentation of high-quality desserts and pastry items for the evening service at Dstrikt Steakhouse
• Ensuring efficient mise en place for a smooth and timely dinner service
• Contributing to the development and refinement of dessert offerings in collaboration with the Pastry Chef
• Supporting the coordination of workflow within the pastry section during evening operations
• Production of bread and baked goods; knowledge of bread-making is considered an advantage
• Ensuring proper storage of all food items in compliance with hygiene standards (HACCP)
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the pastry section at all times

Your Qualifications:

• Successfully completed vocational training as a chef or confectioner
• Relevant experience in a pastry kitchen, ideally within a high-end restaurant environment
• Interest or experience in bread-making is advantageous
• Strong professional skills combined with creativity and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, especially during evening service
• High level of quality awareness and passion for gastronomy
• Good knowledge of English; German is an advantage

The statutory gross minimum remuneration for this position, based on full-time employment, is € 2.263,00 per month. A higher salary may be offered, depending on your qualifications and experience.
