We are looking for qualified candidates who are passionate about hospitality to join our team! The Pastry Cook will be responsible for the successful management, execution, and presentation of the desserts and baked goods served.

Job Requirements:

• Follow all prep lists created by Executive Chef.
• Properly set up dessert station, maintaining all par levels. Restocking as necessary.
• Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, in accordance with Health Department standards.
• Ensures all stored product is labeled and stored following FIFO and Company standards.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of all desserts meets expectations.
• Ensure the quality and condition of pastry kitchen equipment is in good working order.
• Attends and participates in any training sessions, departmental meetings, and daily pre-service meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate:

• 2 years of previous experience in similar position.
• Candidate must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
• Candidate must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
• Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask calmly under pressure.
• Maintain professional appearance standards as directed.
• Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
• Must have SNHD Food Handler Safety Card.
• Working environment may include exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
• Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
