Our award-winning client is seeking a Pastry Chef Manager to join their team. We are a well-established fresh-food marketplace and event catering company searching for an experienced Pastry Chef Manager to join our team. We're privately held and operated, with a deep commitment to creating delicious food for all occasions, from elegant fine dining experiences to relaxed buffets and custom cakes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 20 bakers and support staff.

• Oversee all aspects of the bakery operation, including strategy, performance, procurement, inventory, and logistics.

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and local health codes.

• Manage budgets, forecasts, inventory control, and quality control processes.

• Develop and implement best practices to improve efficiency and customer service.

• Schedule staff and coordinate bakery specials with other departments.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in bakery management or as a pastry chef.

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.

• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, inventory control, food cost management, and food safety regulations.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Experience hiring and training bakery staff.
