Job Description

  • General Job Duties:

This individual will operate two pasteurizer systems. Will be responsible for ensuring all products meet F.D.A. regulations pertaining to the pasteurization process. Will ensure all batched product meets lab specifications before processing. Will assist batchers and receivers when needed. Must be willing to learn the processing systems in order to trouble shoot and assist in maintenance. Will need to become familiar with the function and maintenance of automated valve systems, piping, holding tanks and CIP systems. Will be responsible for maintaining logs, charts, processing records, and regulatory records and seals. Must be willing and able to become licensed by the state for processing and receiving. Must be computer literate. This position may be required to work three 12-hour shifts and a rotating weekend schedule as needed.

Qualifications

This person must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and willing to be flexible as to their schedule. Must be honest and hard working. There will be a drug test and background checks for qualified applicants.

Applicant must agree to work according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Must be at least 18 years of age.
