Job Description

The wage range for this position is $27.64 - $30.71

Essential Functions:

• Sanitize the pasteurizing system on startup.
• Operate the pasteurizing system in compliance with the PMO.
• Run different types of milk products and place the products in storage tanks.
• Connect, disassemble, and clean all parts necessary for pasteurization.
• Thorough inspection of all working parts on the pasteurizing system and the pipes and tanks used to avoid any loss of quality or product.
• Taste products and check temperatures to verify quality standards are met.
• Watch for malfunctions and verify quality standards and specifications are being met
• Make adjustments, if needed, to the product runs to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Communicate with filler operators to ensure work is done effectively and efficiently.
• Pasteurize and set cottage cheese for the day’s packaging.
• Pasteurize juice products.
• CIP of raw storage tanks.
• Communicate with supervisor/manager
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
