Our hours of operation are M-Th, 830a-5p and Fri, 730a-4p

Responsibilities

The PAS Associate reports to the Team Leaders or Section Leaders. The PAS Associate is responsible executing all duties for the PAS Patient Statement Process which includes: taking all inbound phone calls from patients, researching patient issues with insurance, collecting unpaid balances from the patients, coordinating the transition of accounts to Medium Collection Vendor, and preparing write-offs to hard collection company. This position is 100% staff duties.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Prior Experience:

• 1-2 years minimum of customer service experience

Special Qualifications:

• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to understand basic medical terminology
• Acute attention to detail
• Ability to multitask

Additionally Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Call center and/or medical office experience
• Experience in high call volume
• Associate’s degree in business administration or related field
• CPAR - Certified Patient Account Representative
