Westfalia is hiring! We are looking for a Parts/Inventory Specialist to join our Production team. The Parts/Inventory Specialist is responsible for supporting shop floor operations by ensuring timely delivery of materials, maintaining accurate and organized inventory, and performing daily cycle counts. This role plays a key part in inventory control, material movement, and overall warehouse efficiency.
Location Requirements: Must live within a 50-mile radius of Westfalia Technologies Inc Headquarters and within PA or MD.
Job Functions:
- Pull and pick inventory items for delivery to the shop floor in a timely manner.
- Perform put-aways and inventory movements to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed.
- Conduct daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inventory environment.
- Support special projects and additional warehouse tasks as assigned.
QualificationsRequired Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Strong adherence to company safety standards and procedures.
• Ability to operate or be trained to operate a tow motor (forklift).
• Ability to operate or be trained to operate an overhead crane.
• Computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, ERP, and MRP systems.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Education and
Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in inventory picking, parts inventory, or similar role preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Frequent walking, standing, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements such as bending, reaching, and lifting.
Travel Requirements:
- This position requires little to no travel (0-5%) outside of the standard commute.
Work Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
