Parts Technician - Kelowna Toyota

Our goal is to create a comfortable and relaxed environment for our staff and customers to ensure a welcoming family atmosphere. We want our dealership to be a destination worth visiting.

This position has nothing but opportunity. Without going into great detail, this person could start as a parts tech and end up being Assistant Manager within a couple of years.

Requirments for the position:

• Parts Experience is a must
• Journeyperson preferred
• Dealership experience preferred
• Reynolds and Reynolds--our operating system--preferred
• Parts experience in an aftermarket--ie Napa,Lordco,truck accessory store, private shop okay if no dealership experience

The right candidate will have the following qualities:

• Able to multi-task with attention to detail
• Willing to learn all aspects of a dealership parts department ie-Receiving, shipping, inventory control, able to lift 50lbs,
• Working with technicians and retail customers,
• Answering phones in a timely and courteous manner, following up on orders and inquiries from retail and internal customers.
• Upselling the parts required for the complete job.
• Able to work in a fast paced, demanding but rewarding atmosphere. Knowledge in tires would be an advantage but means little with no automotive exp.

Wages would be from $22-$27 an hour to start, depending on experience.
