Level: High SchoolFlorida Kenworth in Tampa is looking for a talented individual to take on the full-time Parts Specialist position! This position would be ideal for those who have prior sales experience, ability to work in a dealership environment, and are results driven. Responsibilities:
- Research, locate, and arrange installation for parts and accessories, including special-order parts
- Ensure customer orders are taken accurately by listening and clarifying requests, identifying automotive parts and offering alternative solutions
- Complete sales transactions by entering purchased items into the sales/inventory system, obtain payment and issuing receipts
Primary Duties:
- Maintain parts inventory by verifying supplies, and placing orders when order-points are reached
- Secures, sorts and returns warranty parts and accessories
- Stock items by unpacking, arranging, and adjusting the inventory system
- Receive all returned items by inspecting the item, returning payment, re-package and re-shelve
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment by following safety and security standards and procedures
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Ensure deliveries are promptly received and notifies customers accordingly
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school degree with automotive focus is preferred
- Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Experience in an automotive parts environment is preferred
- Ability to demonstrate product knowledge to assist with purchase decisions
- Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, internet browsers)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift/move up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to work in a dealership environment to include 8-12 hour days with frequent exposure to weather elements
