Pay $18.50 - $25.25

Regal Boats is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our team. The Parts Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the manufacturing process by ensuring the accurate sourcing, verification, inventory management, and distribution of parts and materials.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Source, receive, and verify incoming parts and materials, ensuring accuracy in quantity, description, product codes, and condition.
  2. Maintain an organized parts inventory using the warehouse management system (WMS).
  3. Coordinate with departments to fulfill parts requests and manage inventory replenishment.
  4. Process shipments and package materials accurately for distribution.
  5. Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and generate reports to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  7. Collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely delivery of parts.
  8. Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
  9. Adhere to all safety and quality standards while working in the parts department.

Required Qualifications

  1. Strong organizational and counting skills.
  2. Detail-oriented and dependable.
  3. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Proficient in using computers and warehouse management software.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  6. Team player who works well in close proximity with others.
  7. Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Previous experience in parts management, inventory, or warehouse operations.
  2. Familiarity with boating or manufacturing industry parts and materials.

Work Environment
Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature reaching over 100 degrees fahrenheit at times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The factory in certain areas maintains a high fiberglass and dust environment.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time. The employee is frequently required to climb into and out of the boats using stairs. The employee must frequently be able to lift 50 pounds, work 10 hour days with most of the time being on your feet, and work overtime, whether planned or unplanned. Personal Protective Equipment might be required in certain areas of the factory including but not limited to safety glasses, respirator, hearing protection, gloves and protective garments. Employees in safety-sensitive positions must report to work fit for duty and must remain fit for duty throughout their work day. To be fit for duty, the employee must not be impaired by alcohol, illicit drugs, or medication.
