Job Description Summary

As a member of the Boiler Parts Customer Service Team in the Americas Region, you will be an active contributor to the fast-paced transactional parts business, with the primary function of processing quotes & orders. This role will require you to perform a variety of tasks of increasing complexity to gain knowledge and experience with customers, our products, and processes. The customer service team represents the face of the company to the customer, so strong interpersonal skills are critical.

Success in this role looks like:

Establish yourself as a subject matter expert by demonstrating your ability to review customer requests and understand their needs, while working with internal team members to define scope. Suggest process improvement ideas to create a lean mindset within the team. Ability to review tableau reports to ensure the team is meeting our business operating plans. Able to lead other Team members during execution, provide training to new hires and assist People Leader with projects.

You will be an indispensable Customer Service Representative, with excellent customer focus, communication, and organizational skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

Who You Are:

• You are someone who brings strong interpersonal skills to achieve cooperation and reach agreement with customers and internal departments. Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• You have experience with MS Office programs with the aptitude to learn additional software packages. Knowledge of SAP software preferred.
• You have advanced experience with Incoterms, market pricing and foreign language skills.

Your Role:

• Develop quotations/proposals in response to customer requests utilizing established processes, procedures, and experience of existing staff
• Order execution to include the management of key milestones, facilitate communication between supplier, product line and key customer contacts and follow project through to completion utilizing established processes and procedures. Understands components of purchase order and identifies red flags
• Handles multiple customer requirements simultaneously. Selects appropriate communication method to fit the situation. Is tactful in dealing with customers and suppliers. Able to gain cooperation from other teams to fulfill customer requirements
• Provides quotes and processes orders in a timely fashion. Classifies and assigns work to appropriate product segment. Prioritizes to meet deadlines.
• Acts as a point of contact for any day to day needs of customer. Resolves invoice disputes, material returns, NCRs, manages customer complaints, expedites emergency shipments, check order status, etc.
• Develops sales skills to follow up on open opportunities and provide competitive feedback. Is persuasive and uses accepted sales techniques.
• Builds rapport with customers. Some travel to customer sites.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Services)

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $72,400.00 and $108,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
