Power Drive Transmission – Solenoids
Solenoid Flushing and Testing
Solenoid flushing and testing requires associates to inspect and load solenoids into test blocks, connect the wire harness,
and run the test on the test machine computer. When the machine is done testing, the operator reads the machine’s output and
sorts the good solenoids from the failed solenoids.
Associates run and manage multiple machines at once. While one solenoid tester is running, the associate loads and runs a
Second, solenoid test machine as well as the solenoid flushing machine. Keeping all three machines running
is done alongside sorting and managing solenoid inventory.

TEHCM Testing and Solenoid Pack Building
Associates will inspect TEHCMs, replace seals, if necessary, load TEHCMs into the test machine, connect the harness, and run the test.
Associates run and manage machine time along with solenoid pack remanufacturing. While the TEHCM tester is running, the associate
remanufactures solenoid packs, returning to the tester to unload, read results, and reload between packs. This includes desoldering,
disassembling the pack, cleaning, inspecting parts, sanding, detail cleaning, installing O-rings, assembling the solenoid pack,
electrically testing the solenoid pack on the workbench and testing individual solenoids and the completed pack on the solenoid test machine.
Work is paced to keep the tester running and to manage TEHCM and solenoid pack inventory.
• Must have good hand dexterity for replacing TFP seals, connecting wire harnesses, replacing O-rings, and desoldering/soldering
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time, inventory, and orders
Schedule:
• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm
• Overtime available
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (approximately 8–10 hours)
• Ability to use handheld tools such as an inline torque tool
• Standing: continuously
• Walking: continuously
• Sitting: only at break/lunch
• Stooping (forward leaning): continuously
Salary and Benefits:
• Starting rate $20.00 + based on experience.
