Job Description

The Parts Operations ITO leader a critical role for the Gas Power Services business and GE Vernova as a whole. Services ships 300k lines per year to the tune of over $2B+ to a global customer base. This role is one of the integral on-ramps to that backlog and the teams in this organization ensure our ITO operations run smoothly.
The Parts Ops ITO leader will lead an org responsible for guiding ITO support to the Parts Sales team, own quote fulfillment support for ITO and MMP, and lead processes for New Unit Spares quoting and ITO project management. This is a global team that must work across a large set of stakeholders. Primary metrics will include things like quote cycle, quote on time deliver, NUS quote on time delivery and fulfillment OTD, and quote and NUS backlog executed.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Quote fulfillment support: Support ITO teams to complete quotes where direct quoting tools are not available / additional support is required
  • ITO parts process improvement: Identify and lead process improvement initiatives that eliminate waste and improve quality of parts quoting for GE Vernova
  • Customer support (internal and external): Support customers either on the internal side (E.g. Parts Sales Team) or in some cases external customer support to handle Parts ITO issues:
  • People Leadership: Direct and 1-1 leadership for key talent in the parts organization at an operator level supporting key processes
  • New Units partnership: Critical integrator role to the New Units business, ensure Services and NU business are aligned on output, forecast, and needs to maximize commercial opportunity and setup
  • New Units Spares quoting: Lead a team of ITO NUS specialists to bid and quote NUS contracts that go alongside NU contracts we are bidding or have won.
  • New unit spares project management: Support the product and part number definition of NUS lines post contract signature and final build development, help customer teamwork through discrepancy in as sold vs. as executed parts lists
  • Operational rigor and lean process: Be a strong advocate for lean processes, waste reduction, and drive daily management and structure in teams

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Major experience in the Services & Customer Order and Fulfillment
  • Advanced relevant functional work experience (Operations, Fulfillment, Logistics, Commercial Tools, Process Improvement)
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Fluency in English

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $140,300.00 and $233,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
