How You Will Make an Impact

The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring the efficient management, organization, and availability of parts and supplies. This role works closely with the Supply Chain Manager to maintain optimal inventory levels, streamline procurement processes, and support operational needs across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the parts department.
  • Partner with the Supply Chain Manager to develop and implement inventory management strategies.
  • Ensure timely procurement and availability of parts to support production and service operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct routine audits to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
  • Receive, label, and organize incoming parts into inventory systems.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to forecast future parts needs.
  • Implement policies and procedures for parts handling, storage, and distribution.
  • Resolve issues related to parts quality, delivery, or availability.
  • Utilize inventory management software and ERP systems to track inventory and generate reports.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Train and supervise parts department staff.
  • Manage warranty claims and supplier returns as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in required training and safety meetings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • 5–7 years of experience in parts, purchasing, or inventory management preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work legally in the U.S.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and maintain a clean motor vehicle record.
  • Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.

Reports To: Director of Procurement

Work Location & Travel Requirements

Location: Stanton, TX
Travel: Up to 25%
