Job Description

Essendon Jaguar Land Rover is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Parts Interpreter to join our growing Parts Department. Supporting a well-established dealerships, this role plays a key part in ensuring accurate parts identification, efficient supply, and outstanding service to both internal and external customers.

Working closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, suppliers, and retail customers, you will contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the dealerships by maintaining strong stock control, supplier relationships, and customer service standards. What you will be doing:

• Interpret and supply parts for workshop, trade, and retail customers
• Accurately identify parts using electronic catalogues and dealer management systems
• Process parts orders, invoices, credits, and customer enquiries
• Maintain stock control and assist with inventory management
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts
• Support Technicians and Service Advisors with parts requirements
• Assist with receipting, dispatching, and merchandising of stock
• Deliver professional and responsive customer service at every interaction

What you need:

• Previous experience in an automotive parts environment
• Strong attention to detail and product knowledge
• Confidence using electronic parts catalogues and dealership systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• A team-focused attitude and willingness to support multiple departments
• Experience with Jaguar Land Rover products is highly regarded but not essential
• Current driver's licence and Australian working rights
