About the Role
Wangara Kia are looking for a professional and friendly Parts Interpreter to join our busy parts department. This full-time role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, staying organised, and supporting both the workshop and our guests with accurate, timely parts supply.
As a key member of the parts team, you play a vital role in keeping the dealership running smoothly. How you interpret, source, and supply parts directly impacts workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role suits someone who is approachable, detail-focused, and solutions-driven, with strong communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
What you will be doing:
Interpret and supply parts for workshop technicians and service teams
Assist retail and trade customers with parts enquiries
Process parts orders, invoices, and credits accurately
Source parts and manage supplier relationships where required
Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control
Ensure parts are correctly receipted, stored, and issued
Work closely with the service and workshop teams to meet operational needs

Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a Parts Interpreter or automotive parts role preferred
Strong knowledge of automotive components and parts cataloguing systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Professional, approachable, and solutions-focused
Comfortable using computer systems and dealership software
Current driver’s licence and Australian working rights
