Job Description
The main responsibility of this role is to sell, promote and coordinate Scania Parts within a designated site. This is achieved by focusing on customer contact, building relationships, making quotations that fulfil their demands.
Job Responsibilities
- Liaise with customers
- Serve workshop and counter customers with minimal waiting time
- Responsible for invoicing and return parts
- Sell parts to counter wholesale and retail customers
- Providing correct parts sales, for customers
- Promote parts sales by conducting regular telephone sale
- Provide technicians with parts as required
- Controls storeroom inventory to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction
- Handle and resolve customer issues
- Examined returned parts for defects , exchange defects parts or refund money
- Receive approved cheques from customers/credit check customers account
- Responsible for cash sales
- Dispatching of parts, verifying dispatched parts against the invoice and that the invoice is completed accurately and signed
- Ensure outgoing goods documentation corresponds to the relevant documentation
- Assist with stock take
- Keep parts department, clean, tidy and in safe condition
- Perform general parts administration i.e. filing
- Must be willing to work overtime and assist with break downs when required
- When requested carry out other reasonable duties and responsibilities not specifically mentioned in the job description during the course and scope of employment
Applicants must meet these minimum requirements:
- Matric certificate or N3 or equivalent
- Must have MINIMUM of 3 YEARS Experience NOT- NEGOTIABLE
- Previous Experience with parts coordination and sales
- Driver’s license, code 14.
- Medically fit.
