What You'll Do
- Utilize electronic maintenance system for ordering parts for machinery
- Maintain accurate part quantities and reorders part supplies.
- Verify items received against purchase orders. Perform regular cycle count inventory to ensure accurate inventory accounting.
- Organizes parts in maintenance shop. Updates and maintains accurate bin location by part number to ensure parts organization
- Remove parts or items no longer used from inventory.
- Locate buyers for items not needed.
- Pick and deliver parts at machine shop.
- Allocate parts with activities in inventory system.
- Work with Maintenance Supervisor and Manager to create and maintain a consistently accurate and updated mechanical inventory
- Daily communication with the maintenance group on parts received and/or problems with parts
- Maintain inventory of plant gases
- Performs other duties as required
Requirements
What You Bring
- Good knowledge of tools and equipment
- Mechanical skills
- Computer skills, Word, Excel
- Experience with ERP systems
- Good communication skills
- Superior organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- High school or trade school diploma
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- May require bending or lifting.
- Lifting up to 60lbs.
