Parts and Warehouse Coordinator

Diversified Transportation is looking for an organized and dependable Parts and Warehouse Coordinator to support our parts and warehouse operations. This role coordinates the ordering, receiving, inventory, shipping, and movement of parts and materials to help ensure our service and operational teams have what they need, when they need it.

The position works closely with service, maintenance, purchasing, suppliers, and other company locations.

The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Travel to other company locations in Fort McKay is required, approximately twice per week.

Wage: $27.00 per hour, increasing to $29.00 per hour upon successful completion of the probationary period.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Parts and Inventory

  • Identify, order, receive, track, and distribute parts and materials based on unit and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate special-order parts for specific units, including sourcing, ordering, tracking, and following up on back-orders or delays.
  • Manage core parts, including receiving, inspecting, documenting, tracking, and arranging timely returns to suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update transactions for parts received, issued, transferred, returned, or shipped.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with physical inventory counts, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Ensure parts are properly labelled, stored, staged, and routed to the correct unit, work order, department, or location.

Shipping and Receiving

  • Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and related documentation.
  • Identify and resolve shortages, damaged goods, incorrect shipments, and other discrepancies.
  • Prepare and coordinate outbound shipments, supplier returns, and core returns.
  • Complete required shipping and receiving documentation and maintain accurate transaction records.

Warehouse and Multi-Location Support

  • Coordinate the transfer of parts, materials, and cores between company locations.
  • Load, unload, move, and organize parts and materials using appropriate material-handling equipment.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe parts and warehouse areas.
  • Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to communicate parts availability, shortages, delays, and outstanding requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in parts, warehousing, inventory, shipping and receiving, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on outstanding parts requirements.
  • Comfortable working with computerized inventory and record-keeping systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Forklift experience or certification is an asset.
  • Valid Class-5 driver’s license required.
