About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts & Service Sales Representative to join our Parts and Service team. This role is responsible for driving aftermarket sales growth across a defined customer portfolio, supporting Global Business products including Fire Suppression Systems and Mobile Refuelling Solutions.

As the trusted point of contact for customers, you will identify new business opportunities, develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, and deliver value-added solutions that improve equipment performance, reliability, and operational outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional who enjoys working closely with customers, building long-term partnerships, and contributing to the ongoing success of a global industry leader.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop aftermarket sales opportunities within an established customer base.

  • Drive growth across parts, service, support, and other aftermarket offerings for Global Business products.

  • Conduct fleet gap analyses to identify opportunities for increased customer value and sales growth.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer decision-makers and operational stakeholders.

  • Develop tailored service agreements and customised solutions to meet customer requirements.

  • Act as the liaison between customers and Sandvik teams to ensure aftermarket issues are resolved efficiently.

  • Provide regular updates on customer activity, business opportunities, and sales performance.

  • Support new product and service initiatives through customer and market feedback.

  • Assist customers in identifying training opportunities and operational improvements.

  • Undertake strategic stock planning and forecasting to meet customer demand.

  • Achieve agreed sales and business development targets while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in equipment, aftermarket parts, service sales, or a related technical sales environment.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and communicate customer value propositions.

  • Knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling practices, preferably within mining, heavy equipment, or industrial sectors.

  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Experience using CRM systems and managing sales opportunities through the sales lifecycle.

  • Advanced computer literacy across Microsoft Office and business systems.

  • A current Driver's Licence and willingness to travel to customer sites as required (up to 40% of the year).

Desirable:

  • Experience includes knowledge of Fire Suppression Systems and their service and installation requirements.

This role may be based in either Lae, Papua New Guinea, or Brisbane, Australia.
