About the role:
Hastings Deering is currently on the hunt for a Parts Advisor to join our high performing Customer Care Centre. This a permanent, full-time position located in our Archerfield office
Reporting to the Customer Care Supervisor – Technical, the Parts Advisor is the front‑of‑house contact for customers, handling parts enquiries efficiently while delivering a consistently high‑quality service experience.
This role will involve the following key duties and responsibilities:
Deliver professional, customer‑focused service across multiple communication channels.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using CAT systems and tools
Clarify customer needs and provide accurate parts advice and solutions
Maintain high‑quality data and records across core systems
Follow all operational policies, procedures and compliance requirements
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth order delivery
Support key accounts through clear communication and reliable follow‑through
Apply sound problem‑solving and commercial awareness to achieve positive customer outcomes

About you:
At least 3 years’ experience in a customer service, parts or operational support role
Year 12 qualification desirable; mechanical or technical background highly regarded
Proven customer service experience with a focus on building strong, lasting customer relationships
Comfortable providing parts support using systems, product information and manuals
Experienced in using CRM and order management systems to support multiple customer accounts
