Parts Advisor – Jim Shorkey Youngstown

Location: Youngstown, OH

Jim Shorkey Youngstown is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our growing team! If you have a passion for automotive parts and strong organizational skills, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Parts Manager to locate and order parts not currently in stock
• Handle special-order requests and ensure timely follow-up with customers
• Manage the full parts sales process—from customer inquiry to invoicing
• Process daily Mitsubishi parts orders using CDK scanner
• Pull and distribute parts for technicians and counter staff
• Maintain accurate inventory and organized stockroom
• Perform parts lookups and assist retail customers at the counter
• Ensure efficient disbursement of parts to service technicians

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Prior CDK experience is preferred
• Strong understanding of inventory and receiving processes
• Excellent phone and customer service skills
• Basic computer proficiency (training provided for dealership systems)
• Previous dealership parts or customer service experience preferred
