CONTEXT
Ipas Mozambique is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, operating in Mozambique since 2018. Ipas works in partnership with funders, government, NGOs, and community-based partners to strengthen Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, including awareness and access to contraception, safe abortion services, and gender-based violence care.
Ipas Mozambique is a member of the global Ipas Impact Network and operates as a branch office of Ipas US.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Partnerships and Business Development Manager leads Ipas Mozambique’s resource mobilization, partnership, and business development efforts in alignment with the country strategic plan, donor priorities, and Ipas policies. Working closely with cross-functional teams and Senior Leadership, the role ensures strong donor and partner mapping and engagement, high-quality proposal development, and effective positioning with current and prospective funders and partners.
In the current employment period, s/he will focus on expanding and diversifying Ipas Mozambique’s funding portfolio, strengthening business development systems and staff capacity, and ensuring timely analysis and pursuit of funding opportunities, quality proposal submissions, effective donor cultivation and stewardship, and accurate pipeline reporting.
The Partnerships and Business Development Manager reports to the Country Director and is a member of the Ipas Mozambique Senior Leadership Team (SLT), contributing to organizational strategy, sustainability, and external representation.
