Partnership Tax – Private Equity Fund
Location: New York, NY

Our team is growing, and we are seeking a Partnership Tax professional to join us. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Big 4-trained tax professional with experience in private equity or real estate partnerships to move into the buy-side and be part of a dynamic, people-first firm.

Responsibilities

• Support tax compliance and reporting for multiple private equity funds and investment vehicles.

• Review partnership allocations, K-1s, and quarterly estimates.

• Coordinate with external tax advisors and service providers.

• Partner with the finance team on tax planning, structuring, and special projects.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international tax regulations.

• Provide technical expertise on partnership taxation matters impacting fund structures and investors.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant tax experience, with a background in public accounting (Big 4 or equivalent).

• Strong technical knowledge of partnership tax, particularly in private equity or real estate.

• CPA or advanced degree (MST/JD/LLM) preferred but not required.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams.

• Desire to transition from public accounting into a buy-side role with better balance and culture.
