A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.

Our Internal Tax team provides internal services related to financial services, treasury and taxation. As part of our team, you’ll help the team provide a full range of taxation services to PwC related to complex financial reporting, cost management, tax planning, investment management and transaction processing.

General Purpose (of the position):

Advice the Corporate Tax Director and LoS partners in different tax obligations and dispositions that may affect different customer service projects as well as the Firm’s internal operations through the supervision and coordination of the Corporate Tax team.

Functions and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the Corporate Tax team to organize and delegate the activities accordingly to the different projects and tax regulations
  • Coordinate and supervise the calculation of the tax returns (monthly and annually)
  • Coordinate, supervise, advise and realize the Firm’s tax compliance
  • Analysis of tax implication on international transactions
  • Identify, analyze and evaluate the tax law changes that may affect the Firm and partners tax compliance
  • Attend the information and documentation requirements from the Tax authorities.
  • Compute and analyze Firm’s tax projection
  • Anticipate Firm’s tax related needs to develop and discuss potential solutions

Preferred skills

Academic background:

  • Accounting Bachelor´s Degree. Desired specialization in taxes
  • Strong wide knowledge in local and federal tax laws
  • Clear communication of tax dispositions and issues to highest executive level in the organization
  • Take action to implement risk management and compliance procedures
  • Team management and strong communication skills
  • Oral and written proficiency in English

Work experience and knowledge:

5 years minimum of experience in tax returns, provisional payments, fiscal reports, refund processes, handling requirements, technical tax advice and strategies

Travel Requirements

Up to 20%
