Job Description

Proximus Global is seeking a highly driven Partnership Strategy & Operations Manager to support the execution of our most strategic global partnerships and partner-led growth initiatives.

This role will work directly with the VP of Partnerships and serve as the connective tissue across a broad range of high-priority initiatives involving Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and external partners.

Our strategic partnerships increasingly involve complex, cross-functional launches that span multiple business units and require coordination across both internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is more than a traditional project manager. We are looking for someone who can take an ambiguous strategic objective, translate it into a clear execution plan, identify dependencies and decision points, drive accountability across stakeholders, and keep initiatives moving without requiring constant direction.

This person will effectively operate as an extension of the VP of Partnerships, helping ensure that strategic priorities translate into execution.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 6–12 months, this person will have:

  • Established a clear operating cadence across the Partnerships organization's most important initiatives.
  • Created transparency around ownership, milestones, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
  • Significantly reduced the amount of day-to-day project coordination required from the VP of Partnerships.
  • Accelerated launches by proactively resolving blockers and driving cross-functional accountability.
  • Built credibility across senior stakeholders as someone who can be trusted to move complex initiatives forward.
  • Developed repeatable processes that allow Proximus Global to manage a growing portfolio of strategic partnerships on a scale.

The Profile We're Looking For

You may be a strong fit if you are the person who naturally walks out of a meeting thinking:

  • What did we actually decide? Who owns each action? What could prevent this from launching? And what needs to happen next?
  • You are comfortable entering situations where the answer is not obvious, creating structure where none exists, and driving a diverse group of stakeholders toward a common outcome.
  • You don't wait for someone to tell you the next step.
  • You figure out what the next step should be, and make sure it happens.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership Execution

  • Own project management for Proximus Global's highest-priority strategic partnership initiatives from concept through launch.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans across commercial, technical, operational, legal, finance, marketing, and go-to-market workstreams.
  • Translate broad partnership objectives into specific deliverables, owners, milestones, dependencies, and timelines.
  • Identify risks, blockers, and unresolved decisions early and drive them toward resolution.
  • Maintain relentless follow-through with internal and external stakeholders to ensure commitments are delivered.
  • Coordinate complex initiatives involving multiple Proximus Global entities, products, and functions.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the central point of coordination between Partnerships and teams including Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Security, and Procurement.
  • Establish clear ownership and accountability for partnership deliverables.
  • Drive stakeholders toward decisions when projects encounter ambiguity or competing priorities.
  • Escalate issues thoughtfully and proactively when executive support is required.
  • Reduce the administrative and coordination burden on senior leaders by ensuring meetings result in decisions, owners, and actions.

Executive Support & Operating Cadence

  • Work closely with the VP of Partnerships to prioritize strategic initiatives and ensure time and resources remain focused on the highest-impact opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a centralized view of major partnership initiatives, milestones, risks, and executive decisions.
  • Prepare briefing materials, project updates, decision documents, and executive presentations.
  • Run weekly operating reviews for strategic partnership initiatives.
  • Ensure action items and commitments from executive and partner meetings are tracked through completion.
  • Help prepare the VP of Partnerships for important internal and external meetings by synthesizing relevant context, decisions, risks, and outstanding issues.

Strategic Initiatives

  • Lead special projects that may fall outside traditional organizational boundaries but are critical to the Partnerships organization's objectives.
  • Help structure new programs and operating processes as the Partnerships organization continues to scale.
  • Identify gaps in ownership or execution and proactively step in to help close them.
  • Conduct analysis and develop recommendations to support partnership investment and prioritization decisions.
  • Help establish repeatable launch frameworks and playbooks for future strategic partnerships.

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, program management, strategy, business operations, consulting, partnerships, or a similar cross-functional role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex initiatives involving multiple teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong executive communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and quickly identify the decisions and actions required.
  • Comfortable challenging stakeholders and driving accountability regardless of organizational hierarchy.
  • Strong judgment regarding when to resolve issues independently versus when to escalate.
  • Comfortable working in environments where ownership is distributed and priorities evolve quickly.
  • Ability to move seamlessly between strategic discussions and detailed execution.
  • Experience working in technology, telecommunications, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, communications, or a related industry is preferred.
  • Experience working with major technology ecosystems such as Microsoft, AWS, Google, Salesforce, or similar platforms is a plus.

We are offering

  • Good compensation - Competitive € salary plus benefits package.
  • Development opportunities.
  • Challenging but also a friendly working environment.
  • And much, much more...
