We have an opportunity for a Partnership Growth Manager to join our Wealth, Insurance & Product Governance team and play a pivotal role in accelerating BNZ’s wealth and insurance growth.
You’ll own the delivery of your partner portfolio end-to-end, ensuring our partnerships create exceptional customer outcomes, deliver sustainable commercial growth, and strengthen long-term strategic relationships. You’ll work closely with our Partnership Operations and Propositions teams, bringing together the right expertise to deliver the best outcomes for our customers, partners, and BNZ.
This is an Auckland-based hybrid role, with at least three days a week in the office.

This is an opportunity to genuinely influence the growth of BNZ’s Wealth and Insurance partnerships, delivering better outcomes for our customers while driving sustainable commercial growth. You’ll have the autonomy to identify opportunities, influence strategy, and bring initiatives to life that make a real difference for both our customers and our business.
No two days are the same. One day you could be developing a commercial case for a new opportunity, the next you’ll be influencing senior stakeholders, solving complex challenges with partners, or bringing a new initiative to market. You’ll work closely with our Partnership Operations and Propositions teams, giving you exposure across the business while playing a central role in bringing strategy, commercial thinking, and delivery together.
If you enjoy building trusted relationships, thinking commercially, solving problems, and seeing your work translate into meaningful customer and business outcomes, you’ll thrive in this role.
What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity?
Success in this role comes from balancing multiple priorities across a complex partnership portfolio while keeping everyone aligned around what will create the greatest value.
You’ll need to confidently navigate competing priorities, challenge assumptions, make commercially sound decisions and influence both internal and external stakeholders. As market conditions and partner priorities evolve, you’ll be comfortable adapting plans, managing ambiguity and maintaining momentum, while ensuring decisions balance customer outcomes, commercial performance, and long-term partnership success.
What will success look like for the candidate in this role?
Success will be measured by the strength of your partnerships, the outcomes you deliver for customers, and the sustainable commercial growth you create for BNZ.
You’ll have built trusted relationships with your partners and stakeholders, developed clear partner business plans, prioritised the right opportunities and consistently turned strategy into action. You’ll confidently manage commercial performance, use financial insights to guide decision making, and continually identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes and deliver measurable value for our customers, partners, and BNZ.
