Help Strengthen Support Across Hull
We are establishing the Hull Money Team, a new initiative focused on helping residents access support earlier, improve financial resilience and prevent problems from escalating into crisis.
We are looking for a motivated and approachable Partnership Development and Engagement Officer to work closely with Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations, community groups and council services, helping to strengthen relationships, encourage collaboration and support a more connected approach to service delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a developing programme that brings organisations together to share knowledge, build connections and make the most of available support, resources and opportunities. A key aspect of the role will be engaging with VCSE organisations and partner agencies to develop strong working relationships, understand local challenges and opportunities, and support collaborative ways of working.
Why Join the Hull Money Team?
The Hull Money Team is committed to helping residents improve their financial wellbeing and access the support they need. By working collaboratively with partners across the city, the team aims to strengthen local support networks and help build more resilient communities.
As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to develop relationships with a wide range of organisations, contribute to partnership-focused initiatives and support positive outcomes for communities across Hull.
ROLE AND PURPOSE
The Partnership Development and Engagement Officer will be part of Hull City Council Advice Services, alongside the Welfare Rights Service, reporting to the Advice Services Manager.
The role supports the delivery of a programme aimed at strengthening community resilience and improving support for local people. This is achieved through working in partnership with organisations to enhance access to services and opportunities.
The postholder will work with a range of partners, including Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations and council services, including Family Hubs and Adult Social Care See and Solve teams, to support the adoption, embedding and effective use of digital systems and tools, helping partners build confidence, overcome barriers to engagement and maximise the benefits of digital solutions.
The role involves working within community settings, alongside office-based and remote working to engage with partners, build digital confidence, and promote the effective use of technology across services and communities.
Key responsibilities include supporting the onboarding of partners, promoting the use and benefits of digital systems and tools, and developing an understanding of organisational needs to support effective implementation. The role also involves delivering training and providing ongoing support to internal and external partners, including remote support where required.
The postholder will monitor and analyse system usage data to support performance, ensuring systems and tools are used effectively and contribute to the delivery and outcomes of the programme.
