Compensation: $140,000 - $190,000 Base + Performance Bonus + Partner Track

Location: Fresno, California

The Opportunity

As a Partner Track Tax Manager, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients while helping lead tax engagements, mentor staff, and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Advisory & Planning

• Develop proactive tax planning strategies for business and individual clients
• Research and resolve complex tax matters
• Provide strategic consulting and business advisory services
• Identify opportunities to improve tax efficiency and minimize risk
• Assist clients in achieving long-term financial goals

Client Relationship Management

• Serve as a trusted advisor to key client relationships
• Develop and maintain long-term client partnerships
• Participate in client meetings and strategic planning discussions
• Deliver exceptional client service and responsiveness
• Identify opportunities to expand services and strengthen relationships

Leadership & Staff Development

• Supervise, mentor, and develop tax professionals
• Review and oversee complex tax engagements
• Provide technical guidance and coaching
• Support recruiting and retention initiatives
• Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Practice Growth & Firm Leadership

• Participate in business development initiatives
• Help identify opportunities for practice growth
• Support strategic initiatives within the firm
• Contribute to succession planning and long-term leadership development
• Play an active role in the future direction of the practice

Qualifications

Required

• Active CPA license
• 5-7+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Experience reviewing complex individual and business tax returns
• Strong tax planning and advisory experience
• Experience supervising staff and managing client engagements
• Excellent client relationship management skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities

Preferred

• Real estate industry experience
• Agriculture industry experience
• Construction industry experience
• Experience serving family-owned businesses
• High-net-worth tax planning experience
• Business development experience
